EENergy Energy Efficiency Analysis and Grant Application Now Open!
A great opportunity for SMEs seeking support for energy efficiency projects! EENergy’s second and final calls, funded under the EU’s Single Market Programme (SMP), are now open for applications. 🚀 Who Can Apply? Applications are invited from businesses established before January 1, 2024, operating in the following sectors: Agriculture, Fertilizer, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Glass, Machinery Manufacturing, Mining, Paper and Paper Products Manufacturing, Ceramics, Wood and Cork Products Manufacturing, Chemicals and Chemical Products Manufacturing, Rubber and Plastics Products Manufacturing, among others. 💰 Support Offered: Up to €10,000 in financial support for selected SMEs (Projects aiming for at least a 5% improvement in energy efficiency will be supported.) Free consulting services to enhance your energy efficiency and sustainability processes. 🌱 What Projects Are Supported? - Installation of renewable energy systems (solar panels, wind turbines, etc.) - Energy optimization software - Energy audits and training - Acquisition and installation of new, energy-efficient equipment Before applying, an Energy Efficiency Analysis must be completed. Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence Info Day
On December 24, 2024, the "Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence Call Information Day" event was successfully held in collaboration with TÜBİTAK National Coordination Office, Sabancı University, EEN Istanbul, and Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research & Application Center. The event, organized for research centers, universities, and industrial firms interested in the Teaming for Excellence Call, was completed with the participation of nearly 40 attendees from more than 15 institutions. The event began with an experience-sharing session related to the #TeamNano project, coordinated by SUNUM. This was followed by a detailed presentation on the Teaming for Excellence Call by Dr. Derya Donertas, National Contact Point for TÜBİTAK WIDERA, ERC, and JRC. We would like to express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara, Dr. Derya Donertas, Abdurrahman Türk, Seda Eryilmaz Şenol, and Dilek Beteş for their valuable contributions and support.
EIT HEI Project Writing Workshop
On November 11, 2024, we successfully held the "EIT HEI Project Writing Workshop Event" in collaboration with SUATT and Fark Labs within the scope of the EIT Urban Mobility RIS HUB Türkiye project. The EIT HEI Initiative (European Institute of Innovation and Technology Higher Education Institutions Initiative) is a key program run by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) that aims to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship capacities of higher education institutions (HEIs) and offers support opportunities in this regard. We would like to extend our gratitude to Abdurrahman Türk, Berna Beyhan, and Türkan Yosun for their presentations and experience-sharing during the event!
